The Malthouse Theatre, which was built around 1900 will be part of the World Renowned Kings School which has been teaching in Canterbury since 1541 and is often described as the oldest school in England with records going back to 597AD and was established by St. Augustine
MV Lifts was chosen to be part of this amazing project for Kings School Canterbury and their renovations of an old Malthouse into a creative space for Drama and Dance, the main focus of this building will be the Malthouse Theatre and a series of Dance and Drama studios. Working alongside Buxton Building Contractors this 4-floor lift installation will be one of our Exclusive Ecocell® evacuation lifts that has self-contained battery backup system to allow the use of the lift during a power failure.
